Once upon a Dream! Disney Cruise Tip #1

Ahoy Matey! Going on a Disney Cruise? Well, as you can guess, even the Cruise will abound with all your favorite Disney characters. And just like the parks, opportunities for autographs and photo opps are a plenty, even on the high seas. But who wants to worry about keeping up with an autograph book on the boat? You'll need to keep it dry while taking a dip in Mickey's Pool, and you certainly can't ride the AquaDuck with it! And really, who wants to go running back to their Stateroom for the book every time the characters are greeting in the Atrium? So, how can you make sure you get all the autographs of your favorites, and a few surprise ones, too? Bring a pillowcase! That's right! Pack a pillowcase in your day bag and drop it off at Guest Services on Embarkation Day, Deck 3 Mid-Ship, and like Magic, it will be returned to your Stateroom on the last night of your cruise. You can even request specific characters to sign! Generally, you are allowed two pillowcases per Stateroom, but if you happen to have all three children with you when you drop it off, they will make an exception ;-) Lastly, if your like me, you like being efficient. Place your pillowcases in a gallon size zip-lock baggie, along with Sharpie colors of your choice, then label the front of the baggie with your name, Stateroom number, number of pillowcases, and number of Sharpies. This way, if your pink request slip gets separated from your baggie, they can still find you!

Chillin' with the "Chipmunks" on Castaway Cay.

Private meet-greet with Pluto on the Concierge Deck.

                                               Princess Gathering in the Atrium.

Our finished product! And it's useable!
No storing this in the closet!

Bon Voyage!
