Meet Magical Blogorail Teal!

Welcome to those of you joining me from Dave's, Walt Disney World Instruction Manual, and to those of you who have just hopped aboard, I am the 3rd stop on our Magical Blogorail loop.

As the first post for the Magical Blororail Teal loop, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself, my blog, and my inspiration for blogging about my Happy Place, Disney World!

Disney Parks have been a source of magic in my life from the time I was five years old, visiting Disneyland for the first time. Though the memories of that first trip have faded over time, I know that moment was pivotal in shaping my life as a Dreamer and a Doer. Disney Magic is a special breed of magic, blending the need to escape reality, with the hope that fantasy can become a part of daily life. Disney Magic allowed me to be a child, when I was a child, yet dream of the possibilities of my future. And as an adult, Disney Magic allows me to be a child again, remembering the magic of days gone by. It is this intense feeling of magic, wonderment, and pure joy, that Disney provides, that not only fills my heart with Pixie Dust, but fills the hearts of millions around the world. I know I am not unique in the fact that Disney fills my heart with magic. What is unique, are the circumstances, situations, and life-experiences that have brought us all to our love of Disney!

Having been born with Amniotic Band Symdrome, I only have one hand, a fact that has never held me back! I was blessed with a wonderful family that always believed me, and silly as it seems, I think Disney believes in me, too, in all of us, actually! Having Disney Magic in my life gave me the extra bit of Pixie Dust I needed to really believe all my dreams could come true. My Family, my Faith, and a little bit of Pixie Dust , make me who I am today! Currently, I'm a stay at home mom of three children; one Prince, two Princesses. In addition to chasing them all over town and back again with their competitive activities, I'm a Fitness Instructor, teaching a variety of Group Fitness Classes 4 -5 days a week. Staying active & fit is a passion of mine, I love fitness- especially because I also enjoy good food & wine. Hey, it's a happy median & it's all about balance!

When it comes to blogging, lets just say, I'm the new train on the tracks. So don't be surprised if you get to play witness to the evolution of the "DisneyFAITHful", as I learn and grow with the help of my Blogorail Family.
The inspiration for the birth of the DisneyFAITHful began with a trip to the semi-finals of the 2011 Disney Moms Panel search. After having just a taste of begin one step closer to the panel, I began constructing a plan to prepare myself for the 2012 Panel search. I began a journal of thoughts and ideas I had that might be useful for the next search. Part of that plan was the possibility of creating a blog. Initially, the plan to blog came from wanting a creative outlet to polish my writing skills, and to keep the magic alive between vacations to WDW. Now, it has become so much more! I have connected with some incredible people, that have inspired me tremendously! I'm excited to learn even more about taking my blog and my writing to the next level, while meeting even more fantastic people along the way! We really are leaving digital legacies, and what a wonderfully magical topic to chose as an outlet for leaving this legacy!

I want to thank you for taking the time to read all about Blogorail Teal! I hope you enjoyed getting to know us better, and are excited to join us on our Magical Blogorail journey. And as always, remember to...."Please stand clear of the doors. Por favor manténganse alejado de las puertas."

Lastly, Thank you for joining me today! Your next stop on the Magical Blogorail is

Disney officially has a new Princess: Meet Rapunzel!

*Posted on 6/14 on the Disney Park Blog by Thomas Smith, Social Media Director, Disney Parks. *
DisneyFaith is not original author.
That’s right, we’ll soon have a new official member of our Disney Princess court and that calls for a royal celebration. We’re thrilled to announce this morning that we’ll be welcoming Rapunzel as our tenth Disney Princess with a star-studded ceremony at Kensington Palace in London, UK.
And what better place than Kensington Palace, right? It’s been the home of many real-life princesses over the centuries and on October 2, 2011, it’ll be the place for a world-first ceremony honoring Rapunzel. All ten Disney Princess characters will be there, joined by VIPs, celebrities and little princesses from around the globe. The festivities will include a procession through Hyde Park, party activities and an amazing welcoming ceremony.
Princess Rapunzel and Her Prince Flynn Rider
As most Disney Parks Blog readers know, each of our princesses has a unique story and Rapunzel is no exception. She’s an inquisitive princess who fills her days with art, books and imagination and can’t help but feel her true destiny lies outside of those lonely tower walls.
We’ll have more details on Rapunzel’s royal celebration in upcoming months but for now, mark October 2, 2011, on your calendar as the day Ariel, Aurora, Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine, Mulan, Pocahontas, Snow White, Tiana and the world gathers to officially welcome Disney’s newest princess to the family.
